Welcome to Wings For Our Troops!

The Wings For Our Troops Foundation was born out of our desire to honor our son, Cpl. Chad S. Wade USMC, who was killed in action in Afghanistan on Dec. 1, 2010. Wings for Our Troops Foundation strives to assist Marines (and eventually every branch of the military) in getting home before and after deployments should they not have the money to do so otherwise. Most don’t know that these trips home are paid for out of their own pockets on a very modest paycheck. We can’t imagine not having had the 11 days with Chad before he deployed to Iraq and we never want one military man or woman to miss the chance to spend time with their loved ones before and after deployment. We are forever grateful for the time we had with Chad and for the commitment and sacrifice of our armed forces.
